Common Break-Point ReferenceSince 2010 with the release of Responsive Web Design standards and the exponential growth of mobile browsing and the smart phone, the one web with multiple screen sizes became a reality. Above is a reference for the different breakpoints for different screens that can be used in your Responsive Ad design. When designing Responsive Billboards or Edge-to-Edge units a common breakpoint to start out from is either 2560 or 1440. Between 1440 and 1024 is the zone for the desktop. About 80% of sizes all fall within this break point area. 1024 is the sweat spot for the length of an iPad or common tablet in landscape. Then comes 768 for the iPad or Tablet in portrait. Below 768 is where it gets kind of messy again. There is such a wide array of smart phones, phablets (phone/tablet) and tablets that having it completely fluid below 768 you can never go wrong. Having the Responsive banner <220H below 768 guarantee’s even in landscape mode you get full-view of the creative.
